Event description

Heavy rain associated with potentially damaging winds and lightning is expected from 28TH November to 30TH November 2024 due to the influence of the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ). The rains will start from Southern areas progressing northwards.

Instructions

1. Avoid crossing fast flowing and flooded waters 2. Avoid seeking shelter under tall objects including trees 3. Avoid moving in the open during a thunderstorm.
