Mostly sunny, hot to very hot and dry conditions are expected over most parts of Malawi from Monday to Sunday. However, there is a chance of a few light rain showers mainly over northern and southern areas between Monday and Tuesday. See forecasted accumulated rainfall for 12th to 18th October 2026 (Figure 1a).

This weather pattern is due to a warm easterly air mass.
