From Tuesday, 12 August 2026, air quality is expected to improve over most areas. However, conditions are likely to remain unhealthy for sensitive groups, particularly over central and some southern areas, where dusty conditions are likely to persist. Daytime UV radiation levels are expected to become low over most areas, except in the north, where they are expected to remain high through 14 August 2026
