Air quality is expected to remain unhealthy for sensitive groups over parts of the southern (Blantyre, Zomba) and central (Lilongwe) regions, while moderate air quality is anticipated to prevail over the northern and lakeshore areas. Hazy conditions are likely to persist across the country, particularly over central and southern Malawi, due to active fires.
