SUMMARY OF WEATHER AHEAD

Windy, mostly cloudy and warm conditions with thunderstorms and rains which will be locally heavy are expected mainly over the south from tomorrow Monday 01st December 2025 due to the convergence of South easterly and easterly air masses. The rains will be decreasing northwards. Figure 1 to the right shows the expected cumulative rainfall amounts across the country with extremely heavy rainfall over the south like Mulanje exceeding 90mm. The threat of flash floods is high over some southern areas as most northern and some central areas are expected to have less rainfall amounts.

Strong Mwera winds are expected at times over water bodies.
