SYNOPSIS AND INFERENCE

Expect cloudy and windy conditions with rains which will be locally heavy mainly over northern lakeshore areas from tomorrow 17th April 202025 till Sunday 20th April 2025 due to south easterly airmass. From Monday 21st April 2025, easterly waves will be dominant over Malawi, therefore expect partly cloudy conditions with localized rains mainly over the north.

ADVISORY: Strong Mwera winds expected to begin blowing over Lake Malawi and other water bodies by tonight 17th April 2025. All lake users should exercise caution during this period to save lives and property. Threat of Flash flooding is high over northern areas.
