Expect windy, cloudy, and chilly conditions with fog patches and rain over many areas, due to an incoming high-pressure system off the south east coast of the Republic of South Africa that will induce a cool and moist southeasterly air mass into Malawi.

Warning: Mwera winds, with speeds of about 45 km/h, are likely to blow over Lake Malawi and other lake water bodies beginning Saturday night, 3RD May 2025. The Mwera winds are expected to trigger high waves of around 2 metre. Therefore, stay alert.
