Expect occasional thunderstorms with rain which will be locally heavy mainly over lakeshore areas due to the influence of unstable easterly air mass coupled with pulses of Congo airmass.
Advisory: The threat of flash floods is high along the lakeshore and in parts of the northern areas, particularly in Karonga and Chitipa. Therefore, stay alert and avoid crossing rapidly flowing or flooded waters.
