Locally heavy rains and thunderstorms to continue mainly over northern and some central areas whilst mostly cloudy and windy over the south with reduced rainfall activities as the I.T.C.Z will be well confined over the north. Expect Mwera winds to stop blowing over our lake water bodies by Friday afternoon, 01st March 2024. All lake users including fishermen are still advised to remain cautious during the forecasted period.

Warning: Threat of Flash floods is still very high mainly over parts of central, lakeshore and northern areas, with the persistence of heavy rains over these areas. Let’s therefore continue taking all the precautionary measures to avoid loss of life and properties.
