Expect cloudy conditions with locally heavy rain and thunderstorms to persist as the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (I.T.C.Z) is still influencing the weather over the country. Strong Mwera winds to continue blowing over our lake water bodies and will possibly trigger high water waves of around 1.8 m. All lake users including fishermen are advised to remain cautious.

Warning: With the persistence of locally heavy rains, threat of Flash Floods remains very high mainly over parts of central, lakeshore and low lying areas. Therefore, take all the precautionary measures to avoid loss of life and properties.
