Isolated thunderstorms and rainfall with occasional windy conditions are expected to persist, mainly over the central and northern areas with localized heavy rainfall likely in some parts particularly along the lakeshore, including parts of Nkhata Bay, Nkhotakota and Karonga, due to the convergence of south-easterly and north-easterly winds.
