Expect windy and cloudy conditions coupled with thunderstorm and locally heavy rains at times mainly over parts of northern, central and southern areas due to the influence of Inter Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ). However, a low pressure system is expected to bring increased rainfall to southern Malawi starting from this evening on March 11, 2024, until Wednesday on March 13, 2024, potentially leading to sporadic flash floods.

Advisory: Avoid crossing flooded rivers, roads and storm drains. Do not allow children to be close to streams, storm drains, or other flooded areas.
