Isolated thunderstorms and rain, which may be locally heavy, will persist over northern areas, including parts of the central and lakeshore regions. These conditions are expected to extend to more areas of the southern highlands over the weekend as the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) shifts southwards.
